Blog, photos and survey:

Jimmy

This website could be so much better if you had photographs of your own. Four photos were part of the requirement. The site is clean and tidy, but could have been developed to be more interactive. The homepage is the best, with your own photo and plenty of links. The video sound is out of sync.

There is fair research into similar products, and basic research on a potential target audience - there isn’t any evidence of a survey. There is minimal organisation of actors, locations, costumes or props. There is minimal work on shotlists, layouts, drafting, scripting or storyboarding. Time management may be very poor. There is basic use of appropriate digital technology or ICT in the presentation.

There is no evaluation of the seven points prescribed by the exam board.

I know this has been a hard and uphill task for you, Jimmy - but there is plenty of help available if you ask, and if you look at other student blogs (on morrmedia). I’d be really pleased if you got this together, because at the moment this is looking very bad! You need a pass, preferably at a D grade, and this can be very easily achieved. You need to gain another 6 - 8 marks on the website: your own photographs, and improving external links on three pages would help. You need to improve your research by providing the survey (you’ve got it somewhere), and that would boost that mark. And you need to post the evaluation - that would get you a pass, and just possibly a D grade.

Please do your best for this . . . !

Please read this and start to get your blog beautiful and polished. Each improvement will help you get another mark - the difference between one grade and another is only a mark.
